isn't as easy as it was b4 m8 because even the wars used zealots fire for half thier damage. Apart from that they used this build:
-Healing Hands (Use when Cyclone is recharing)
-Healing Breeze (Use constantly ^^)
-Vigorous Spirit (Can do without but is nice help)
-Live Vicariously (Key healing, use cyclone to hit 10 surrounding foes and gain +150 HP)
-Mending (Enchant)
-Bonettis Defence (Use to regen Mana)
-Cyclone Axe (Use for Adren for Bonettis and for heal with Vicariously)
-Zealots fire (Added Damage, NOTE: No longer possible to use this against Gryphs as far as i know).
I think it went
Axe Mastery: 5+4
Healing Prayers: 12
Smite: 10

If you want to farm griffons quickly I suggest you use a sword.

Since you have been helping me with the Forge Runner Thread I will show you in game how the above build or a modification of it is much faster than a sword build. Their really is nothing faster than an axe build or a 55 monk for this type of farming. Send me a pm Sk8tborderx that has your IGN. If we can meet in an international district one night I will be more than happy to show you.

I don't put any points into sword. I use 16 tactics and do damage with riposte, deadly riposte, and glads defense.

With smiting at 12 balth spirit only gives 1 stike of adrenaline. Take out the points in smiting just for that. If you have cyclone axe there is no reason to rely on balths spirit for adrenaline.

I would also say that if you move the smiting out and meet your axe req and just span cyclone/bons def when glds def is recharging your damage output would go up considerably with a 3:1 vamp axe.

I don't even use a weapon when I farm Griffons and Hydras. Here is my build.
1-Blessed Aura
2-Mending
3-Essence Bond
4-Protective Spirit
5-Healing Breeze
6-Reversal of Fortune
7-Shield of Judgement
8-Zealots Fire
My attributes are Healing 13, Smiting 15, Protection 9, Divine 9
When I step outside I activate 1,2 and 3. Just before stepping into the agro circle I fire 8, 4 and 5. When I am surrounded by all available enemy I hit SOJ, then every 3 seconds activate 4,5 and 6 until everything is dead. Instead of fighting back I am picking up drops, in case I get killed unexpectedly.
If there is a boss in the group I target him and wand him so he dies with the rest. My secondary is Me, and I use Mantra of Resolve against enemies who can interrupt. In that case I replace Reversal of Fortune.
BTW Reversal of Fortune is a great cheap skill. It offers health protection, recharges fast and costs only 5 to use. With ZF on it is a cost-effective way to damage a large group.

You only need 2 spells to keep your health up
Mending @ 3 pips
Live Vicariously at 8HP per hit
I use a vamp axe, but thats just for speed (extra 3 damage a hit)
Bonnetis for energy and to reduce damage
Glads D. with 16 tactics (I have a shield with +1 tactics so 20% of the time my tactics is at 17 which does 39 damage per block and you gain 1 additional second out of Glads D)
Cyclone Axe (damage dealing and healing)
So those are the required skills in my mind for a W/Mo farmer the rest is just preference. So the build I use:
Exocutioners Strike (Choice slot)
Penetrating Blow (choice)
Sprint/Disrupting Chop (choice I take sprint if I want to farm faster, Dis. Chop if I want to kill the monk boss, you can take anything you want really)
Cyclone Axe (required)
Bonnetis (required)
Glads D (required)
Live Vic. (required)
Mending (required)
Equipment (this is my preference)
I use a Vampiric Battlepick of Defense
14^50 (15 while enchanted would be better)
Vamp 3-1
Armor +5
Shield
-2 while enchanted (you really should have a shield with this mod for farming)
2nd mod is better mine is Tactics +1 20%
Ascalon Helm (+1 tactics and red. damage from attacks) The rest is Gladiators.
The build is pretty fast, and very easy to run.

Fastest build is w/n with axe.
Best all around warrior build is:
Sword
Gladiators Defense
Bonnettis
Shield Stance
Doylak
Desperation Blow(my favorite attk skill)
Ripost
Deadly Ripost
Heal Sig
Get your tactics at 16
sword at 10
str 10
Its fast because you have ripost going off all the time and desp blow every 7 with no knockdown. Shield Stance lasts 21 secs and doesn't go away when another skill is used so you have a lot of damage time w/o worrying about health.
It's a reliable, very fast, build where you never have to worry about your secondary and can solo most things besides griffons.
But the fastest griffon farming build is w/n with SS and MOP
Spiteful Spirit
Mark of Pain
Cyclone Axe
Watch Yourself!
Doylak Signet
Shield Stance
Bonnettis
Heal Sig
Again 13 tact 12 curses 10strength remainder in axe.
Shield stance gets you all the heal you need and lets you SS and MOP w/o much rockshot trouble and Bonnettis gives you energy regen and 1 heal.
SS a griff, turn and MOP a griff and start attacking another griffon to build addren. Now you have a cyclone axe that does +34dmg. Don't attack the mop'd griffon and SS whenever you have the energy. you can drop a group (of any size) in 25 sec or less.
In 20 secs: An SS'd griff will attack 15+times(berzerk stance) SS does 29 each attack so they all take 435 damage from one SS in 20secs + 4 cyclone axes = 136 (only 4 beacuse you need heal time as well)
435+136=571dmg with only one ss.
Wammo builds are too slow becuase they are all defense, and zealots fire does greatly reduced damage vs griffons

I finish all the griffons in under 10 min and that is giving some cushion. Cyclone is the faster way. That is why guys want to use it. I have tried both ways and mastered them both. IMO cyclone wins hands down. I am going to meet up with S8 to do some farming and watch his sword build then show him my axe build. I am interested because he claims his will be faster by far We shall see. If I have to eat my words I will do it in this post.

I will have to talk to Me NoFat about this but I am hoping to test the builds on the minos at the elona mission. The minos are always easy to group and you don't have to worry about getting a bad spawn. We could time the run from after the gate opens until all the minos are dead. Either myself or Me NoFat will post the results on here for all to see.

Me NoFat: On average, how long does it take to kill each Griffon? It takes me and my Sword/Riposte build around 15 seconds per Griffon, and I'd be very interested to know of (and learn) another build that can go faster than that.

here is my griffon build:
healing prayers: 8
smiting: 5
axe: 13
tactics: 15
Glads defense
bonettis defense
cyclone axe
zealots fire
executioners strike (for the orange boss)
vigorous spirit
live vicariously
mending
its easy to use and very forgiving if you mess up
cast your 2 maintained enchants, making sure you have 20 energy when done casting. run and aggro at least 6 griffons and minos (this is because cylones will refill bonettis even if you have no adrenaline) 9 is preferred though.
if you have the orange boss aggroed as well, make sure he is your main target. when you have them all aggroed hit glads then zealots, then vigorous spirit, then hack away at the boss while glads is up. by the time glads is done, bonettis will be ready to use, use it. as soon as energy is full: hit cyclones axe then bonettis again, repeat that until glads has recharged.
then hit glad, cyclone, vigorous, executioners, cyclone, vigorous, executioners, cylone, bonettis, and repeat cylone axe and bonettis combo until glads is finished again
i find the executioners strike kills the boss around the same time as the rest of the griffons. this is the most efficient way to kill griffons that i have found, i really don't understand the need for watch yourself or dolyak signet.
